KOREnergy Announces Electric Reduction Test

KOREnergy is notifying you of the one (1) hour electric reduction test for Ohio customers to take place on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 starting at 4:00 pm and ending at 5:00 pm, Eastern Time. On that date, you are required to implement a mandatory one-hour electric reduction TEST at your facility. This test is for all locations except those with PENELEC and PPL electric utilities. Please ensure that you have your load reduction strategies implemented prior to 4:00 pm and then to hold that reduction position for 5 minutes or so after 5:00 pm.

KOREnergy will send out reminder notifications Monday, September 28 as well as two hours before the test on the September 30.

As of today the weather forecast for next Wednesday is in the low 70’s to mid-high 60’s across most of Ohio/PA/WestV.  If something would change between now and then (ex. Wednesday forecast changes to be in the 80’s across the region), KOREnergy reserves the right to reschedule the Test for a later date.

If you have any questions, contact KOREnergy at 740-964-3216.
