Lisbeth Lyons will preview Election 2020 (with national and regional highlights) as we barrel toward a national election – and how the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting the political and policy landscape in Washington, D.C.
Lisbeth Lyons is the Vice President, Government & Political Affairs, of PRINTING United Alliance, having started as Director of Legislative Affairs in March 2005. In this position, she is responsible for providing direct advocacy before Congress and the Administration on key industry legislative initiatives, as well as for the strategic direction of the organization's grassroots and external outreach activities. She serves as Treasurer of PrintPAC, the only industry political action committee dedicated solely to electing pro-print lawmakers.
Previously, Lisbeth was Director, Government Affairs at the United States Telecom Association (USTA), representing telecommunications companies ranging from the nation's largest Regional Bell Operating Companies (RBOCs) to small, rural telephone companies. Lisbeth also served as Director of Grassroots & Legislative Services at the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation's largest small business advocacy organization.
Lisbeth is a candidate for an M.A. in Political Management at The George Washington University and holds a B.A. from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.
Prior to working in Washington, D.C., Lisbeth was a teacher with Chicago Public Schools.

Nationally known speakers will be presenting via Zoom and as a conference attendee, you can choose to attend from your office, conference room or in-person. Michigan members can attend in West Bloomfield Township at the Marshbank Lodge and Ohio & Kentucky members can join us in Westerville, Ohio at the Everal Barn and Homestead. We have reserved these beautiful all-weather, safety-minded outdoor meeting facilities to host our great networking and educational events. GMA staff and Board members will welcome Michigan and regional members and friends to view the Zoomed presentations together, while enjoying refreshments, lunch and in-person interactions. Between the national Zoom presentations, local activities will include regional speakers, raffles and contests. PEA Best of Category and Best of Show winners will be recognized during the Millcraft Grand Ceremony presentation immediately following lunch, and winners can receive their awards in-person if attending the local conference site.
