Ford Bowers to Speak at 2020 Leadership Conference
You won't want to miss Ford Bowers, President and CEO of PRINTING United Alliance, deliver the opening remarks at our 2020 Leadership Conference. He will give an update on the industry, as well as speak on the newly combined PIA and SGIA association, PRINTING United Alliance.
Ford Bowers entered the printing industry in 2006 as an account manager for Miller Zell, a leading retail/POP print and service provider in Atlanta. He became the vice president and general manager of the Graphic Center at Miller Zell in 2008, leading the company through the transition from analog -- screen and litho -- to mostly digital print production. In January of 2016, he became the president and CEO of SGIA, now PRINTING United Alliance, where he continues to further the organization’s initiative of providing unparalleled education, events, government affairs, health and safety, research and development, leading publications and more; across all printing communities.

This conference has received rave reviews for a number of years and promises to be another fantastic LEARNING experience. Even though it will be structured a little differently this year, there will still be plenty of NETWORKING opportunities with your Association and industry peers!
Nationally known speakers will be presenting via Zoom and as a conference attendee, you can choose to attend from your office, conference room or in-person. If you’re tired of virtual, virtual, virtual and would like to safely network with your friends and peers, then join us in person! Michigan members can attend in West Bloomfield Township at the Marshbank Lodge and Ohio & Kentucky members can join us in Westerville, Ohio at the Everal Barn and Homestead. We have reserved these beautiful all-weather, safety-minded outdoor meeting facilities to host our great networking and educational events. GMA staff and Board members will welcome Michigan and regional members and friends to view the Zoomed presentations together, while enjoying refreshments, lunch and in-person interactions. Between the national Zoom presentations, local activities will include regional speakers, raffles and contests. PEA Best of Category and Best of Show winners will be recognized during the Millcraft Grand Ceremony presentation immediately following lunch, and winners can receive their awards in-person if attending the local conference site.
