Graphic Media Alliance Business Development Director Michigan and Northwest Ohio
Graphic Media Alliance is looking for a Business Development Director, Michigan / Northwest Ohio, full-time, with competitive salary and benefits. The directive of this position is to provide support and assistance to current Association members and directing the recruiting efforts for prospective members.
Qualifications:
8-10 years’ experience in outside sales or a membership organization required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in graphic communications industry strongly preferred.
Recruit new members and maintain existing membership for Association through active communication and professional relationship building.
Communicate consistently with current and prospective member companies to keep abreast of the developments in the industry and the needs of the members.
Act as key resource person for members in Michigan and northwestern Ohio.
Oversee the coordination of the regional marketing plan, coordinate and maintain marketing materials for mail, in-person and follow-up phone call contacts to prospective members.
Coordinate the collection of delinquent membership dues.
Schedule and conduct in-school presentations on industry, education and employment opportunities.
Help coordinate meetings and events, including solicitation of sponsorship, selection of facilities and increasing participation.
