Printing Industries of Ohio • N.Kentucky is excited to announce that Vanecia (“V”) Carr will be presenting two topics on September 25th, at the 2017 Leadership Conference. In one session, she will be addressing the topic of millennials and focusing on how Association members should recognize the buying power and strength of the generation. V’s second session will spotlight how Association members can be at the forefront of their customers, by selling their value and not just ink on paper. 

Vanecia Carr is the Director of Customer & Brand Marketing at Domtar Paper Company.  During her 12 year career at Domtar, V has witnessed first-hand the excitement, effectiveness and enjoyment that only print can generate. As a millennial herself, V is well-versed in all things social media and digital, and has seen how effective both print and digital can be when they work together in an Omni-channel fashion.

If you haven’t noticed, print buyers are getting younger and younger. While millennials have been a major topic of conversation, their stereotype has created a negative mindset for many people. What they are forgetting is millennials are now the largest group of people in the labor force and have incredible spending and buying power.

As more and more of the millennial generation enter the paper and print industries, V is dedicated to not only understanding this generation’s values and needs, but also communicating this information to both her company and her customers. V believes it is time to dispel the negative stigmas associated with millennials and recognize the buying power, strength and optimism of this emerging generation.

Vanecia will be presenting on September 25, 2017 at 11:00 am-12:15 pm and 3:15 pm-4:30 pm. We look forward to her ideas and your feedback!
